Some bad moments
Such a fantastic app. The things I appreciate:
- Ingredient inventory (and thus, ideas for what I dont have)
- "What I Can Make" only includes ingredients I have
- Classic recipes
Its perfect for showing to guests when they ask, "What do you have?"
Minibar is a testament to great app design. The great set of features are beautifully presented and there are a ton of them. I was very impressed by the thorough nature each drink is approached, and how well integrated the concept of an inventory is.
Very well-designed app and excellent photos. Content is good and techniques, tricks, and tips are useful. The ingredients menu that allows you to enter what ingredients you have in your bar and filter drinks by ingredient is a good feature as well as the "inspiration" feature. The only complaint I have is the lack of drink recipes. Im sure more is on the way at the time of this review, but its just a little light at the moment compared to some other mixology apps out there.
Crashes instantly on startup. Every. Single. Time.
I expect better from a paid app.
I wish all apps looked this good and worked this well. Completely stable on iPhone 5. Keep up the good work.
